Problem with my internet connection
I just changed to a high speed connection, and Itunes music store and MSN music can't connect, it says the network connection times out. I can browse the internet fine and my security software isn't blocking them.
In my local connections is shows two connections. One is local area connection 6, and the other one is 1394 connection. The 1394 doesn't have an Ip adress or anything, I was wondering if that could be the problem. (I really don't know anything about computers)

No, the 1394 port is your firewire port, this is usually for connecting a camera or video camera, it's high speed like usb(2).
The most probable reason your having connection issues is your security settings, i.e firewall software, or if your using a router, check to see what ports itunes and msn use and allow them access, thats only the valid reason I can think of.

Have a look on www.portforward.com
The most probable cause is your router - in this case you will need to configure it to allow these programs if it has a built in firewall.
If you've never done anything with it before try typing 192.168.0.1 in the IE or Firefox address bar and a login screen should come up. By default the username is Admin and the password is either admin or password. As I say, this is only the default login for some routers, yours might be different.
Once you've done that, follow the instructions on portforward.com and hopefully that will fix the issue.
Floonds.

It doesnt have my router on the list on port forward, and when I put my Ip adress into the adress bar in IE or firefox the connection times out, and I turned off all my firewalls

What type of router do you have? (Name, manafacturer etc.)
If you let me know, ill try and help you.
Try 192.168.0.0 - you need to find the IP Address of your router. (as I say, tell me what router you've got and ill try to help)
